In February 2010, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Liz Claiborne Inc. launched the first free online training designed to help educators, youth-serving organizations, and others working with teens to understand the risk factors and warning signs associated with teen dating violence.
Dating Matters: Understanding Teen Dating Violence Prevention is a 60-minute, web-based training designed to provide an interactive experience based in an educational setting. A facilitator’s whiteboard presents information in a user-friendly way and provides navigation, help, and resources for use throughout the course. The training also highlights the importance of promoting healthy relationships.
